Several years ago I started a few blogs then did nothing with them.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
I had motivation when\u00a0I started them. \u00a0At the time, I\u00a0had just been laid off from my previous employer and was looking for a way to keep positive. \u00a0I took enough time to write one post each about what is important in my life, about job searching and my technical passion — fighting malware.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Unfortunately, I allowed the pressures of finding a job to consume more time than it probably should have. \u00a0I could have carved out enough time to write a little something daily, but didn’t. \u00a0Writing has never been my thing, so it wasn’t a difficult decision to not do it. \u00a0 However, I’ve learned the value of writing; more about that later.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
With new-found motivation, I plan to write a little each day. \u00a0Maybe only a few words. \u00a0Maybe a few pages. \u00a0But always something. \u00a0This doesn’t always mean a post every day. \u00a0I can choose to let something simmer for a while in draft before posting it. \u00a0Actually, that is probably a good idea. \u00a0Not being an English major, I find stepping away from I stream of consciousness and revisiting days later creates one of those “what was I thinking moments.”<\/p>\n

This is my (new) start for now.<\/p>\n
